Giuseppe Iadisernia's love of horses lead him to make his first thoroughbred purchase at the age of 20. After establishing an Electrical company with his brother Feliche Iadisernia he was forced to dedicate his time to business matters. In 2003 the brothers decided to purchase several horses with intent to pinhook them as two year olds in training. After a weak showing they decided to train the horses and race them under "The Big Stable". Eight years later the Iadisernia family decided to start Northwest Stud at the Nelson Jones Training Center property. Spearheaded by second generation horsemen their sons Giuseppe J. Iadisernia and Diomar Feliche Iadisernia help manage their thoroughbred interests for the Iadisernia Family.
