Horseshoe Indianapolis

Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino is a great family entertainment center in Central Indiana. The pari-mutuel track opened in December 2002 and added Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing in 2003. Simulcasting is offered year round in the Off Track Betting facility on the first floor of the grandstand. The track, located off I-74 at Exit 109 in Shelbyville, features Clubhouse Dining during live racing. The casino floor offers Brew Brothers, Sidewalk Café, and Jack Binion’s Steak. Rental space is available for group outings with trackside suites also offered. Horseshoe Indianapolis has an indoor seating capacity of approximately 3,000 and is sited on an approximately 200-acre tract. Construction costs total approximately $35 million (including two satellite wagering facilities). Construction Manager was Turner Construction Co., Indianapolis, and the architect was Creative Industries, Inc. Horseshoe Indianapolis offers a sprawling, 233,000-square-foot gaming floor with more than 1,500 slots and 65 table games. The casino is connected to the clubhouse. In 2018, Caesars Entertainment purchased Indiana Grand and in 2022, the facility underwent a new name change to Horseshoe Indianapolis to identify with the company’s brand.
