The ‘Belmont at the Big A’ meet is to be conducted by the New York Racing Association from September-October 2022 through 2025 while Belmont Park undergoes construction. NYRA announced plans to hold two more Belmont at the Big A meets in 2025 - one in spring and one in fall - as construction continues at the normal host venue. In 2024 and 2025, the Belmont Stakes will be run at Saratoga Race Course as part of a racing festival.
The meet is held at Aqueduct, with dirt and turf races conducted and all of the usual stakes races held during the fall at Belmont shifted to the Queens, N.Y., track, including several Breeders’ Cup preps.
