Owner Bio

Age 60.  Born in Binghamton NY.

Raised in Montana.

Graduated from Wayland Baptist University. BSOE.

MBA from National University.

First attended Long Acres Race Track in Seattle, WA 1984.   Fell in love with horse racing and the race track and never looked back.  Family and friends often said I was crazy spending so much time and money on the horses, but it was in one ear and out the other.

Spent a year in CA at Bay Meadows Race Track, 1989.

New track built near Seattle, Emerald Downs.  Became an owner with Smooth Wine, circa 1994.  Claimed by Clint Roberts and sent to CA.  Claimed Gold Incentive at Emerald Downs circa 1999.  Claimed away after one race.  Took a sabatical to raise family and returned to horse ownership in 2014 after kids were out of the house.

Became part of the Pewter Stable family of owners in 2014 with a PA bred yearling True Knockout, later purchased 3 more two year olds and a three year old filly and a 4 year old gelding.

The folks at Pewter Stable have been very good to us and always treat you fairly and keep you informed on what is happening with the horses.  I really appreciate everything they do for their owners.
