As a leading Consignor in Canada and in the USA, selling under the banner of Michael C. Byrne, Park Stud has sold numerous horses who have left a lasting impression on the Canadian breed. Selling such sold such leading sires as: Johannesburg (World Champion Two-Year-Old), Rousillon (Champion and G1W in Europe), Bold Executive, Highland Ruckus, Bold N’ Flashy, Consolidator (G1 Lane’s End Breeder’s Futurity, sold for $1.25m). A few of the excellent broodmares sold include: Diva’s Debut (dam of Canadian Oaks winner Capdiva), Miss Sobriety (dam of G1 winner Habibti), Sweet Briar Too (dam of leading sire Langfuhr and grand dam of Vibank) and Wavering Girl (dam of G1 winner and sire Military). Other highlights include; Gal in a Ruckus (G1 Kentucky Oaks by Bold Ruckus), Ela Athena ($2million broodmare IF to Giant’s Causeway), Ride Sally (G1W by Raja Baba), Bolulight (Champion 3-Year-Old), and our most recent champion Financingavailable (Champion Older Female 2006, Champion Sprinter and Champion Older Female 2007).
At the Keeneland September Yearling Sale and the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale in 2004 Michael led all Consignors by average price (September average $509,444 and November average $627,000).
