Sales Representation

At Lantern Hill, we believe that good sales result from personalized relationships with our sellers and buyers. In over 30 years of selling horses in Central Kentucky, we have built a solid reputation for honesty on both sides of the transaction, as well as top-notch horsemanship and skilled presentation.

Matings Advice

Each year Suzi Shoemaker inspects the new stallions in Central Kentucky, and maintains an extensive conformation library on each. With over 30 years of looking at hundreds of stallions in the Bluegrass, plus the thousands of progeny from these sires in the Kentucky sales, Suzi can offer a unique perspective in planning a successful mating for your mare.

Boarding

Lantern Hill Farm is nestled on 185 acres of gently rolling Maury-McAfee soils, land that is the birthplace and former home of Eclipse Champions PRINCESS ROONEY and DREAMING OF ANNA. We welcome boarding inquiries from those who plan to consign with us in the Kentucky sales, or from those who intend to leave their mares at Lantern Hill Farm year-round.
