Kinsman Farm is a complete boarding facility for thoroughbred clients. Our 750 acres offer large turnout fields for broodmares and young stock. The barns are clean and well-constructed for proper ventilation and safety. The staff at Kinsman Farm is comprised of seasoned horse people and trained professionals that provide the best care possible for each horse entrusted in our care.
Kinsman Farm has the ideal facility to start yearlings. Our large, shed row style training barn is surrounded by ample grass turnout paddocks. We have two large round pens with excellent footing and a large riding field for early flat work. Our horses spend several weeks trail riding before going to the racetrack for the first time. We offer a full-service yearling sales preparation program. Our yearlings are turned out in the evening and brought in during the day. We provide the highest quality feed and hay available and closely monitor the growth and development of the young horses. We weigh our young horses monthly and they are inspected by our staff, team veterinarian and farrier routinely.
We also have an excellent set up to rest and rehabilitate your equine athlete. Whether it’s for a short freshening or a post-surgical recovery, we have the knowledge and experience needed to bring your horse back to the track healthy and happy.
