Led by Michael Hernon and Brian Graves, the yearling team’s attention to detail assures that Gainesway clients receive top-drawer service, both on the farm and at the sales.

Gainesway offers the industry’s most exclusive pedigrees, from our own stock and for our clients, to yearling, weanling and broodmare buyers the world over. We consign to all the major Yearling and Mixed Sales in Kentucky, as well as to the Saratoga Selected Yearling Sale. We are very selective in building our consignments, which results in Gainesway ranking among the very top consignors worldwide by percentage of horses sold.

In 2014, Gainesway was the third leading consignor by gross at Keeneland September ($17,948,900), with the highest average ($137,015) and median among the top five. We are also the nation's third-leading consignor of yearlings and short yearlings overall, with gross sales of $24,223,400, and 87% of all yearlings consigned sold.

Overall this year, Gainsway ranks fourth along all Thoroughbred consignors, with more than $35,700,000 in gross sales. We once again are among the very best in the nation by percentage sold (87%), and have the highest median price among the top five consignors.
